Accessibility Statement
Notice: This text was generated automatically from the information provided by the site owner. It is not legal advice and does not replace it. The site owner remains responsible for its accuracy and completeness.
Scope
We, Marco Rossi e.U., want our website Trattoria Da Marco to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. This statement describes the state of accessibility with regard to the Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG), which implements Directive (EU) 2019/882.
As a micro-enterprise (fewer than 10 employees and annual turnover or balance sheet total of at most EUR 2 million) we fall under the exemption for micro-enterprises as far as services are concerned. We still make a voluntary effort to provide an accessible website.
Conformance status
Our goal is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, and the European standard EN 301 549. Automatic checks are run when the website is built, e.g. for colour contrast, alternative texts, heading structure and document language. A full manual audit by an independent body has not taken place yet. We therefore rate the website as partially conformant with these requirements.
Measures
- Semantically structured pages with headings, navigation and landmarks
- Keyboard operation with a visible focus
- Sufficient colour contrast and scalable font sizes
- Alternative texts for images and a defined document language
- Forms with labelled fields and without image puzzles (no classic CAPTCHA)
- Respecting the system setting "reduce motion"
Known limitations
- Documents we upload (e.g. PDF files) and images may not always be accessible or have alternative text.
- We have only limited control over content provided by third parties.
- Embedded maps can only be used to a limited extent with a keyboard and screen reader; we therefore also give the address and directions as text.
- The consent dialog can be operated by keyboard; individual third-party content that only loads after consent may have limitations.
